Behind every artist is a strategy, a story, and a team working to bring the vision to life.

Behind every artist is a strategy, a story, and a team working to bring the vision to life.

Those results were not just audience-growth milestones. They were lessons in how strategic artist management turns creative potential into measurable business growth.

Between 2014 and 2017, I worked as Artist Manager for Misa ’E Gallo, a Puerto Rican collective known for its fusion of hip-hop, funk, rock, jazz, R&B, and Latin sounds.

My role brought together artist development, public relations, digital marketing, audiovisual production, touring coordination, and strategic communication.

During this period, the work included:

  • Audience growth: Growing the group’s social media following from 421 to more than 10,000 over two years.
  • Booking development: Contributing to a 125% increase in booking rates over two years.
  • International promotion: Coordinating concert and media-tour activities in Puerto Rico, South Florida, New York, and Panama.
  • Digital strategy: Managing social media platforms, website content, YouTube, and email marketing through Mailchimp.
  • Content production: Producing, writing, recording, and editing audiovisual content to support the group’s visibility and identity.
  • Public relations: Supporting media outreach and promotional campaigns around releases, performances, and other opportunities.

The work unfolded alongside significant milestones, including the “El Loco” and “Añoranza” music videos, Panama promotional activities, and performances at major Puerto Rico venues.

Music is more than performance; it is culture, identity, and storytelling.

During my years as Artist Manager for Misa ’E Gallo (2014–2017), I had the opportunity to support a group whose creative identity connected contemporary sounds with Puerto Rico’s rich musical traditions.

Looking back, artist management taught me that creativity and business strategy cannot operate in isolation.

Talent needs positioning. Visibility needs consistency. And growth requires a combination of relationships, communication, analytics, and execution.

These are the same principles I bring to strategic communication, marketing, leadership, and professional development today.

The entertainment industry was more than a chapter in my career. It was a training ground for strategic thinking, creative problem-solving, and turning ideas into opportunities.

Yes, I use AI.

I believe in using the technology and tools available to me to support my creativity, organize ideas, explore possibilities, and bring concepts to life. AI is one of the tools in my toolbox—not a replacement for my experience, perspective, or voice.

Technology continues to evolve. So do we.
