During my time as a Marketing Coordinator at Rico Sun Tours, I had the opportunity to design a tourism product quickly, transforming an idea into an experience that could be presented to an audience.
The project: San Juan Cat — Experience the San Juan Bay!
Looking back at this work reminds me that marketing is more than promoting a product. It is about understanding the experience you want to offer, identifying its appeal, and translating that vision into something people can see, understand, and want to experience.
This project reflects a part of my professional journey that continues to shape how I approach my work today:
- Product development: Turning ideas into marketable experiences.
- Creative strategy: Translating a concept into a compelling tourism offering.
- Marketing execution: Moving from idea to design with speed and purpose.
- Experiential storytelling: Presenting a destination through the experience it offers.
Sometimes, the most valuable lessons in marketing come from the projects we create under tight timelines. They challenge us to think strategically, make decisions, and bring ideas to life.
I am proud to revisit projects like this because they represent the foundation of my experience in marketing, communications, and creative product development.
A reminder that your portfolio tells a story—not just about what you created, but about how you think, solve problems, and turn ideas into opportunities.
What projects from your early career still reflect the professional you have become?

Yes, I use AI.
I believe in using the technology and tools available to me to support my creativity, organize ideas, explore possibilities, and bring concepts to life. AI is one of the tools in my toolbox—not a replacement for my experience, perspective, or voice.
Technology continues to evolve. So do we.
