Looking back at this production reminds me of the privilege of working alongside talented artists and contributing to a project that celebrates the richness of Puerto Rican music, our cultural identity, and our connection with the world.
For decades, Banco Popular’s Especial de Navidad has become an important cultural tradition in Puerto Rico. Year after year, these productions bring together renowned Puerto Rican, Caribbean, and international artists, musicians, composers, and creative professionals.
Throughout its history, the specials have celebrated the music and contributions of artists such as Juan Luis Guerra, Rubén Blades, Silvio Rodríguez, Juanes, Shakira, and many other influential figures in Latin and international music.
These productions are more than television specials. They preserve musical traditions, document artistic collaborations, celebrate our roots, and showcase Puerto Rico’s extraordinary contribution to the global music industry.
