Virginia’s women veterans are a powerful force—leaders, caregivers, warriors, and community builders. And now, there’s someone dedicated to making sure your voices, needs, and experiences are seen and supported.
Meet Nikki, the new Women Veterans Liaison at the Virginia Department of Veterans Services (DVS). She brings a genuine passion for advocacy and a commitment to uplifting women who have served. Nikki is stepping into this role with one clear mission: to improve the lives of women veterans across the Commonwealth by ensuring their stories, challenges, and victories are heard.
Women veterans often face unique obstacles—from healthcare gaps to employment barriers to the struggle for recognition. Nikki is focused on strengthening programs that address these realities and creating a community where support and resources are accessible, meaningful, and tailored to your journey.
